UPDATE (12/2/2015): No longer accepting entries. See this post to read about the recipients and how they’ll be using the gift cards!
FPT Gift Box is all about “The FPT (5+2) Model” – that is, turning limited resources into abundance and blessings. Over the last few weeks, I turned a $20k credit card challenge into a huge fundraising opportunity. I bought and sold over $50k worth of Gap brand gift cards because Safeway had a 20% off deal. Along the way, I also earned over 100k British Avios points (worth several free domestic round-trip flights), made a small profit on the gift cards, and earned over $3k worth of free gas.
Most if not all the proceeds will be used to support FPT Gift Box’s vision of helping kids with severe medical condition or disability and sending them to the happiest place on earth (aka Disneyland). The Avios points will help pay for the flights to/from Disneyland. The profit from the gift card sales will go towards Disneyland tickets. The gas rewards points were given away to family/friends/colleagues/friends of friends to help promote and spread the word about my project. Growth in gift card sales and blog readership means more resources for the kids so it’s a win win.
Giving away $500 worth of Gap Brand gift cards
Now, I’m going to be giving away some of the extra Gap brand gift cards. The gift cards may be redeemed at any Gap brand (Gap, Gap Kids, Gap Baby), Old Navy, Banana Republic or Athleta location, including Outlet and Factory stores. They may also be used online. There’s no expiration date.
I have 10 x $50 gift cards that I will be giving away. Priorities will be given to:
- Families with kids who are going through financial hardship and could use some new outfits this winter.
- Purchases that will be donated to people in need (e.g. Operation Christmas Child, Christmas Giving Tree, etc.)
- $ for $ donation match to a charitable organization.
Complete the form below
If you want a free Gap brand gift card, please fill out the form below. The form will be closed at the end of November and I’ll either email or mail out the gift cards. You’ll be contacted by email if you’ll be receiving a gift card.
